A Step In The Right Direction

Updated: May 3, 2021

Okay I know I'm 23 but I still absolutely love playing Sims. It helps a lot when I'm thinking of how to dress a character or how I want them to look in finer detail, I can jump on Sims and make the person and then draw them up. Sims is fun and all, but some of the content can be a bit lacking for certain groups of people.

in 2019, Sims Global Community Manager, @simgurufrost on twitter, tweeted:

This update for the game includes a variety of things, such as new and improved skin tones, better hairstyles and more items included in the expansion packs. The new box art for the base game (seen below) is also more inclusive than the previous version, showing a more diverse group of people which is reflective of the people who play it. These changes are all positive steps to a more inclusive and fun world of Sims, however it would be amazing to see more physical disability representation in these games! Something to think about for the future.
