Callum is a Chester Alumni who works at the BBC as a UX Designer in Salford. He worked on the first version of the BBC Bitesize app which primary and high school children use to help with their studies. He also worked on the Newsround website, which was important as this website was where children could go for news stories that were reported in a more child-friendly way. Working as a User Experience Designer has allowed Callum to work with a variety of people, such as web designers and app developers.

Callum's journey started as an artworker for adverts that went into the back of magazines at an independent publishing company. From there, he did a placement at AKQU- a digital agency who have worked with the likes of Nissan. He was able to work with digital design which he then later specialised in.

Alex is a Chester Alumni who studied computer design. He manages the trainee scheme at the BBC and has worked on the BBC Homepage, iplayer, BBC Sports and the 2012 Olympics. The trainee scheme that Alex manages recruits young designers to work on various products for the BBC such as children's programs and iplayer. The BBC is a sought after company to work for, Alex mentioned that in a portfolio they like to see diversity- the quality of the pieces matters more than the quantity for these positions.
