In the Creative Design Project module, our first brief was to create 5 solutions for 5 separate briefs. Below are the solutions I created:

Animated Business Card

This brief was for us to showcase our skills that we had already developed throughout our time in university- Illustration has always been my strong point, so this was what I included in my animation.

Frankenstein

This brief was one of my favourites. This hypothetical series is about a young girl names Franchesca Stein, affectionally known as Frankie. She is a scientific prodigy and loves anything dark and weird- which can be seen by her appearance.

Public Convenience

This brief I did struggle with, the idea of a public convenience for me was based around toilets, which wasn't something I wanted to focus on. At the time, I had been playing a game in which there was a plague killing hundreds of civilians. The idea of a 'body removal service' came to mind, as it would be publicly convenient to have someone removing dead bodies from the street... Although looking back now, that's really dark and weird.

Remedy

Influenced by a game once again, the idea for this brief came from a character I made when playing Dungeons & Dragons. When playing fantasy games, there's always chances to take potions to regain health or various skills. Cayaww's Violet Vigour was inspired by my character, who was a tavern owner who wrote her own recipes in a little book.

Calendar

This brief was also another that I struggled with. A we only had a week turn around for these small briefs, I decided to create 'Origin': a clothing company which was aimed at children to increase awareness about climate change (relating to the 'Calendar' theme in how much time we had to save the planet') which was appropriate for the age range of 8-13.
