Things I've Missed

I didn't think not being on campus for so long would affect me so much, it's been really difficult adjusting to online-life almost 24/7 and it's really had an effect on my work. I think one of the things I've missed most is seeing friends and lecturers at uni, being in a physical environment with people you like to work with is fantastic, which is why it's been so detrimental to myself and my peers.

In second year I had decided I wanted to work more with screen printing in my final year, however I couldn't do that. I really miss the banter in person, especially with Greg in the print room. The atmosphere at Kingsway is so welcoming in the Graphic Design section, I've seriously missed it over the last year. However, being away from campus has inspired me to invest in a screen printing kit that I can use at home, using these I plan to create prints for t-shirts, bags and posters.

Hopefully in the future, when everything is safer again, I'll be able to visit the campus as an Alumni.
